Contact-form messages are retained for up to 24 months. Client case files are retained for 7 years after case closure, in line with USCIS recommendations and Texas record-keeping norms, then permanently deleted.
You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (subject to retention obligations) by emailing accounts@onestepvisas.com. We respond within 30 days.
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Where a minor is the subject of an immigration matter, we work exclusively with the parent or legal guardian.
We use TLS encryption in transit, encrypted storage at rest in our client portal, two-factor authentication on all staff accounts, and limit access to case files on a need-to-know basis.
If we make material changes we will post the updated policy here and update the "Last updated" date above. For substantive changes affecting active clients, we will also notify you by email.
